Vintage Art Deco Sterling Silver Black and White Monochrome Paste Glass Tennis Bangle Bracelet

A gorgeous true Art Deco era bangle bracelet, circa 1930. This bracelet is really excellent quality, is it made of solid sterling silver and has quality sparkly hand cut square paste glass stones. The glass sparkles beautifully and is a perfect monochrome mix of alternating black and clear. The foil backed glass stones are channel set with milgrain edge details, and the bangle is beautifully engraved with tiny flower patterns on the sides, there is so much fine attention to detail - this is truly spectacular work and so much love and care has been put into creating this piece of jewellery. The bangle is oval shaped for a comfortable fit to the wrist, it fastens with a click in clasp and is completed by a secure safetly chain for added peace of mind when wearing.

The inner diameters of the bangle are 6 x 4.8 cms. The inner circumference is 6.85". It should be an ideal size for a wrist around 6.85" / 7, a medium size wrist. Pictured on a wrist which is 7.25" and it was a little snug but did fit. The bracelet is 4 mms wide.

This bangle weighs 11.7 grams. Tests as solid sterling silver, and is stamped 'STERLING' inside the bangle.

In very good vintage condition with some light wear and tarnish, as to be expected from a vintage item. Some of the white stones have doscoloured a little with age, this is evident in the pictures but really isn't distracting in person. This bangle has been professionally cleaned and polished, it's ready to wear or to give as a gift. Please see the photos.

We offer in-house ring re-sizing. Please contact us if the ring you like is not in your size, we will advise on if it can be sized and will give you a no obligation quote. Some styles (such as full eternity bands) cannot be sized at all, and some rings may only be sized within reason. We are always happy to give honest advice and guidance.
