You hear a tiny hum, ever so faint, pass by your ear. So small and silent, you wonder if you heard it at all. But then you see a silver glint from the corner of your eye, the sun is reflecting on a tiny but perfect shimmering body. The little dragon slows to observe you, his wings beating so fast they appear blurred to you. He silently lands on your arm, his tiny body so light that you feel all but a tickle. As you raise your arm to see him closer, he moves towards your hand. Bringing your hand up to your face, you see his little body settle down, his tiny tail curling around your finger as he looks you straight in the eyes.

All the Details

The Little Dragon Stacking Ring is made of solid 925 Sterling Silver.

It has been hand made by me (Joanna), and is completely original, every small detail was created by hand with hours of care going into making this tiny dragon ring. I first made the little dragon from precious metal Art Clay, the ring itself was made from sterling silver wire, I carefully sculpted the little dragon onto the wire ring before firing the finished product in my small kiln at home. After this, a rubber mould was made and the piece was cast in solid sterling silver. The sterling silver casts return home to me, where I finish each and every one by hand. The next very special step in the process is then sending away my finished pieces to the Edinburgh Assay Office - where each of my designs is hallmarked with the Edinburgh Hallmarks and my own unique Figment Forest sponsor mark (a tiny shield with FF inside). Once all my pieces have been approved and hallmarked, they again arrive home with me - where they are finished for the final time and are ready to go to new homes.

The Little Dragon Stacking ring is a dainty slim banded ring, designed to be a delicate piece to wear alone r alongisde another dragon, or also ideal to wear stacked with other rings of your choosing for a more statement look. Multiples of this ring can be worn together, 2 little dragon rings can be stacked facing opposite ways as 'sisters', or you can wear 3 or 4 together to create your own small finger dragon clan. The little dragon rests on the wire and fits closely to your finger - giving the appearance when worn that he is resting on your finger. The little dragon himself measures around 1.6 mms across, from nose tip to tail tip.

This ring is available in all sizes. Your ring will be custom made for you, to the size you select. Our choices are UK sizes, but if you are more comfortable ordering in US sizes that's totally OK too! Please add a note at checkout, or message us separately, if you require a sizing option different from those offered. There is no charge for sizing, it's included in your purchase price.

The ring has been given an antiqued patina, with darker shadows resting in the grooves - this really helps to bring the little dragon to life. The little dragons raised details have been lightly polished which give the whole design fantastic depth, and the ring band has been polished also. (Please note that each ring is finished by hand, and the patina shades may vary every so slightly due to the oxidisation process and handmade nature of this piece). The Little Dragon Stacking Ring is fully hallmarked with the Edinburgh Assay marks and Figment Forest sponsor mark on the inside of the ring band.

My Inspiration

All of my Figment Forest designs are created in my home studio. I live in beautiful central Scotland and work surrounded by birds chirping outside ,with a view out of my window to my garden - which is full of greenery and trees that brings me a lot of joy. Scotland is an enchanting place with so many tales of myth and wonder, these tales fascinate me and it's very easy to gain inspiration from them - which shows heavily in my fantasy designs. I photograph my work outdoors in my garden and also in a forest close to my home.
