Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Black and White Banded Agate Bar Brooch Pin

A lovely antique brooch, a classic bar style made of solid sterling silver. This brooch features a large circular banded agate, this agate is primarily black with a slim white band. It is set into a close back bezel setting with a rope twist border.

Unmarked, tests as sterling silver. The length of the pin is 5.3 cms. The agate measures 11 mms in diameter. The brooch weighs 4.7 grams. The agate has a small drilled hole whoch is primarily hidden by the bezel at one side, which suggests it was originally a bead and perhaps started life as a necklace before being mounted into this brooch setting.

In very good antique condition with some light age related tarnish and wear. The pin is a little crooked in places, but still perfectly wearable. Please see the photos.

UK Shipping: All items are sent tracked and insured via Royal Mail.

International Shipping:
Items under £200 - are sent with standard shipping, no tracking or insurance.
Items over £200 - are sent with standard shipping that includes a tracking number.
