Antique Victorian Gold Tone Ornate Decorative Oval Locket Pendant Necklace

A beautiful antique Victorian era locket, made of a gold tone metal circa 1890. This lovely locket is oval in shape and is a classic medium size. It is detailed on both sides, with the same design on both sides. There's a lovely engraved swirl pattern, with a geometric element down the center. The original frames inside are engraved also, which is a lovely attention to detail we rarely see. A lovely antique locket.

Inside features space for two photos, both original frames are still inside, as well as original blue backing paper. You could gently add your own photos inside. Closes securely with a satisfying click.

Size: 2.4 cms tall (without the bail loops) and 3.2 cms (including the bail loop).
Weight: The locket alone weighs 5.5 grams.
Metal: This piece is yellow gold in tone, made of a gold tone base metal, possibly pinchbeck

The locket is very good antique condition with some light wear. It has a few faint surface scratches, and some tarnish, as to be expected from a used antique item. Please see the photos.
