Antique Victorian 18ct Gold Moonstone and Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring / Size P or 8

A beautiful solid 18ct gold antique cluster ring. This ring is nothing short of breathtaking - it's one of the finest examples we have ever seen. A beautiful oval cut cabochon moonstone is surrounded by 20 rose cut sparkling diamonds. These natural gemstones are of the finest quality, with the moonstone showcasing a magnificent blue sheen of adularescence - this moonstone is glassy like a droplet of crystal clear water, with the finest blue flash when turned in the light. A very high quality piece, and exceptioanlly classic, a true heirloom.

SPECIFICS:
Size: UK P, US 8 (a medium finger size)
Hallmarks: Unmarked, tested and verified as solid 18ct gold with sterling silver mounts holding the diamonds. Very typical for the time period it was made, before white gold and platinum were widely used as the white metals in jewellery.
Age: This piece is expected to originate from the late Victorian era, circa 1900.
Weight: 3.7 grams.
Gemstone: 1x (10 x 7.5 mm) moonstone cabochon, 20x (1.5mm) rose cut diamonds (totally approximately 0.30cts total diamond carat weight). The moonstone and diamonds are all natural, earth mined. The diamonds are bright and very sparkly.

In very good antique condition with minimal signs of age related wear as to be expected from an antique item. The moonstone has some light surface wear, including some tiny scrtches on the surface. This ring has been professionally cleaned and polished, it's ready to wear, to give as a gift, or to propose with. Please see the photos.

We offer in-house ring re-sizing. Please contact us if the ring you like is not in your size, we will advise on if it can be sized and will give you a no obligation quote. Some styles (such as full eternity bands) cannot be sized at all, and some rings may only be sized within reason. We are always happy to give honest advice and guidance.
