Antique Edwardian Solid 9ct Yellow Gold Fancy Ball and Rope 18.5" Necklace Chain for Pendant / 8.2 grams

A beautiful solid 9ct gold necklace chain, an Edwardian English antique chain circa 1900 - 1910, made of antique yellow gold. This gorgeous chain is a rope style, with symetrical details on both sides that include long double linked elements, and detailed chased repousse orbs. A high quality chain that looks, and feels, like quality all over. A great chain to wear alone or to add a pendant of your choice.

The necklace chain is 18.5" long. The rope chain itself is 2mm wide, the ball elements are 6mms in diameter. It is stamped as 9ct gold on the clasp (we do think this clasp might be a later replacement for the original), we have fully tested the chain itself and can confirm that it is solid 9ct gold also. Weighs 8.2 grams - weighty for its size, lovely quality. The necklace is yellow gold, but is a classic old yellow gold that has rich buttery tone.

In good antique condition, with light surface wear and tarnish as to be expected from any antique item. Please see the photos.
