Antique Edwardian 9ct Yellow Gold White Seed Pearl Crescent Moon Brooch Pin

A magical antique Edwardian era brooch, made of solid 9ct yellow gold. The brooch is shaped like an ethereal crescent moon, which is set with natural white seed pearls in graduating sizes. Crescent moons in antique jewellery often represented spirituality, and beautiful antique celestial pins in excellent condition such as this one; are becoming increasing more difficult to find as the years go on. This brooch can be worn in many directions, or could even be converted to a pendent (please contact us if you would like our goldsmith to quote for doing this).

Hallmarks: Stamped with an old '9ct' mark. Tested and verified as a solid 9ct yellow gold brooch with base metal pin.
Age: Circa 1900, late Victorian era / early Edwardian era
Size: 4.8 cms long
Weight: 3 grams

In very good antique condition, with just minimal light signs of age related wear (such as light scratches and light tarnish) as to be expected from any antique item. The brooch has been sympathetically professionally cleaned and polished, it's ready to wear or to give as a gift.

We offer in-house ring re-sizing. Please contact us if the ring you like is not in your size, we will advise on if it can be sized and will give you a no obligation quote. Some styles (such as full eternity bands) cannot be sized at all, and some rings may only be sized within reason. We are always happy to give honest advice and guidance.

Items under £200 are posted via Royal Mail Tracked 48
Items over £200 are posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery

International orders:
Items under £200 are shipped via Royal Mail International Standard (no tracking, but tracking can be added for a £5 upgrade at checkout if needed)
Items over £200 are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked
