Antique Art Nouveau 9ct Yellow Gold Ornate Opal and Pearl Lavalier Pendant Brooch

A beautiful Art Nouveau era pendant, made of solid 9ct yellow gold. This gorgeous pendant is an open work design, it's exceptionally pretty and feminine. The pendant is centrally set with a prong set rainbow opal cabochon, and further accented with a oval opal droplet. Surrounding the central opal is a beautiful raised leaf-life design which holds tiny natural seed pearls. The ornate frame is scrolled in an almost heart-like in shape, and has a elegant fleur-de-lis motif adorning the top. The detail in the piece is exquisite and so special.

Thie piece can be placed onto a necklace chain, and worn as a pendant, but it also has a pin back so can be worn as a brooch as well. A lovely antique find that would make a beautiful gift idea for an anniversary or special occasion.

Photographed on dark, light, and skintone backgrounds in order to show you how the opals colours shine in all different settings. These opals are are natural and beautiful.

In very good antique condition. With minor light surface wear and tarnish, as to be expected from an antique item. This pendant has been professionally cleaned and polished, it's ready to wear or to give as a gift. Please see the photos.

We offer in-house ring re-sizing. Please contact us if the ring you like is not in your size, we will advise on if it can be sized and will give you a no obligation quote. Some styles (such as full eternity bands) cannot be sized at all, and some rings may only be sized within reason. We are always happy to give honest advice and guidance.
