Antique 1909 Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Rock Crystal Heart Locket Signet Ring / Size S or 9.5

A stunning 9ct rose gold antique ring, an original Edwardian era piece made in the year 1909. This exquisite ring is very unique, shaped much like a traditional signet but with a beautiful clear faceted rock crystal heart panel. Behind the stone appears to be a piece of original beige fabric, suggesting that this ring was intended to be used as a locket. Whilst this may have been the original purpose, over the years the bezel has been worn down around the stone and does not show an obvious way for it to open. It may be possible for a bench jeweller to remove the stone and place a photo behind the stone, but we would suggest it's probably better to keep this ring in it's original unused state rather than risk unsettling the mount. This ring looks stunning - as is, and the rock crystal quartz heart looks exceptionally pretty set into the rose gold mount with repoussed style scrolled shoulders.

The gently worn down lines of this ring mean that is slides onto the finger and feels beautifully smooth. It's a low profile piece and is very comfortable to wear.

Some styles (such as full eternity bands) cannot be sized at all, and some rings may only be sized within reason. We are always happy to give honest advice and guidance.

UK Shipping: All items are sent tracked and insured via Royal Mail.

International Shipping:
Items under £200 - are sent with standard shipping, no tracking or insurance.
Items over £200 - are sent with standard shipping that includes a tracking number.

If insurance is required this can be requested, and we will provide a quote for the additional cost. In the event that a parcel goes missing in the post, we cannot be held liable or claim for compensation unless insurance has been chosen.
